Bjørn Jørund Blikstad

and a part of his master project at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts, Norway; a modular shelving unit.
I find it very facinating the way he has been able to build a 3D storage unit that, when looking at it it seems like a 2D image.
He greatest inspiration behind this peculiar design was Ernö Rubik the man behind the coloured cube puzzle, which personally I find extremely annoying.(Escpecially when looking at 7year old kids solving it within seconds..)But anyway.!- Bjørn made it in the 2010 graduate directory in Wallpaper magazine this winter, you can find him here , along side many other great up-and coming designers from all over tha world! I already found my favourites:)
Hurray for fun design!
